Cute Pup
G'morning. Trying to think of what to write is part of the process of writing, right? Between writting late last night, not getting the best sleep, and then writing this morning (on wake up attempt 2 - the first one didnt last more than an hour or so) I havent overly had much time to think of what to write. But, its NYE today and I'm betting that if I dont write this morning, I wont write anything at all today and I dont want that - I'm getting back in the habit and I quite like it.
So, since I'm not sure what to write plot-wise yet, I'll take a moment to explain the numbering and why it's all buggered up.
So far, I have been starting off by writing, then doing a quick spell check/typo adjustment and posting as soon as possible. The project was started with caveat that I was not writing in order, and that it was raw and unedited. To stop myself from getting in my head I'm just focusing on getting words on a page - cant edit a blank one, right?
With that I havent been checking what I've posted previously - it was only this morning that I realized that I had two #14s and a #15 - so instead of making today #16, I've jumped to #17 in case I go back an re-number the posts, which I might do at a later time but havent done yet.
Oh, and for those wondering - my daughter noticed that I was spending time thinking instead of writing this morning and suggested the title Cute Pup. So there we have that.
mmmMMmmmmmm coffee.
IS trying to force myself to write more productive than waiting for an idea or a spark and running with that? This morning it feels like I am not actually doing anything productive and even pausing to refill my coffee is not helping things.
(in case you were wondering, just sat and stared at the screen for 5 minutes without typing a single word)
I got nothing. Am going to come back and try and write again later - it's been my 30 mins and I'm not thrilled with my progress. It's NYE and I want to make sure I get something
